Ongoing Series

Planet Pailly features several ongoing series. Clicking the links below will bring you to a list of posts from each series.

  • Sciency Words: Science has contributed an absurd number of words to the English lexicon. Every Friday, we take a look at some interesting, new scientific term so we can all expand our scientific vocabularies together. Click here.
  • Artsy Science: We often think of art and science as opposites, but they overlap far more often than you might expect. In Artsy Science, we take a look at the seemingly paradoxical relationship between these two fields. Click here.
  • Molecular Mondays: Atoms and molecules: how do they behave? What can they do, and what are their limitations? Every other Monday, we’ll be taking a closer look at some specific atom or molecule so we can get a better understanding of the basic building blocks of our universe. Click here.
  • The 2015 Mission to the Solar System: Throughout 2015, we’ll be touring the Solar System, starting with the Sun and traveling all the way out to the Kuiper Belt (where Pluto lives). This series will often overlap with the others. Click here.

In addition to my sciency posts, I also participate in the Insecure Writers Support Group (or I.W.S.G.), a blog hop hosted by Alex J. Cavanaugh. It’s a way for writers at all levels to share their fears and insecurities and provide each other with a bit of nurturing advice. I.W.S.G. posts come out on the first Wednesday of every month.
